The available options in the Destination dropdown menu for Trips is populated from this section. Users with correct permissions can add and update their list of destinations with complete flexibility and freedom.
Search Destinations
Search for destinations using the search bubbles for Destination, Country, Region, and Tag. Results are sorted in ascending or descending order by clicking on the arrow buttons to the right of any column headers. Clicking on a line item will take you directly to the destination details screen.
Delete multiple destinations by checking the box next to the records you wish to delete and then clicking the Delete button. Learn more about deleting multiple records.
Export or import a list of destinations, their tags, and all uploaded images as a .json file with the Export and Import buttons. This allows users to share destination lists between Tres domains. See Exporting and Importing .json Files in Tres.
Add a Destination
To add a new destination, click +Add Destination.
Enter the destination name in the Name field. Select a country and region from the dropdown menus. It is not required to select a country or region.
Add tags as needed.
Add Images by clicking the + Add Image button and dragging and dropping files, or inserting hyperlinks. Drag images to reorder, and edit or delete an image by clicking the appropriate button. These images will automatically populate in the client itinerary when the destination is selected from at the trip level.
Click Save All.
To edit an existing destination, click on the line item with the destination you wish to modify. Edit your information and click Save All to save your changes.
To delete an existing destination, click on the line item with the destination you wish to delete. Click the Delete Destination button.
This will generate a popup asking if you are sure you want to delete the destination (as you cannot undo this action). Click Yes, Delete to delete the destination and be taken back to your list of destinations. Click No, Cancel to go back to the destination details.
