Quickly add a new Client and Traveler simultaneously with the Quick Add option. Enabling Quick Add allows advisors to enter new Client and Traveler profiles into the system rapidly since it is available on all screens in Tres. However, it only collects the most basic information, severely limiting reports and marketing. It only records one Traveler per Client profile. We strongly recommend agencies disable this feature if they want to take full advantage of all Tres has to offer.
Quick Add is enabled by navigating to Settings > Agency Settings > Features and checking the box.
Note: Checking this box will enable Quick Add for Client and Traveler as well as Trip and Reservation.
A new icon will appear on the top navigation menu.
Clicking on this icon will open a popup.
Complete the fields and click Save and Open Client to open the newly created Client, or Save and Next to generate a new popup to enter another Client and Traveler.
The system follows the auto population rules below:
- Clients created are Personal. When adding a corporate Client through Quick Add, the type will need to be manually changed to Corporate from the Client profile screen.
- If no Client Name is manually entered, the field will populated from the Last Name and First Name fields entered. Example: Doe/John.
- Email is marked as Primary.
- Phone is marked as Primary.
- Checking the box for Permit Marketing will permit marketing for mail, email, and phone.
