⛔Important Note: You will not be able to import a reservation until you have done the following:
Make sure you have enabled the Tres connection to this provider. Here is how: After you have signed into your account, click on Manage Bookings at the top right. Then click on Integrations as below:
You will then see the Tres item in your choices. Make sure it is activated.
Important: Before using the Direct Connect feature, ensure that no other browser tabs are open in the same browser window as your Tres database.
- Click on Direct Connect icon in the Navigation Bar.
- Choose Project Expedition from the list.
- The Project Expedition website will open in a new browser tab.
- Click Sign In. A pop-up box will appear. Enter your email and Project Expedition password to log into the site.
Click on Manage Bookings.
Search for the booking that you want to import.
- At the bottom of the booking details, click the Send to TRES button.
- If you do not see the Send to Tres button, click here.
- Click OK.
- Click on the Tres Direct Connect extension.
- Enter your Tres login credentials and click Submit. Then click Find Reservation.
- Tres will detect the reservation you selected
- Enter a Trip Reference.
- This is a free-flow field that you enter that will make sense so you can choose it from a list of all your Direct Connect imported reservations.
- Select Send Reservation to Tres.
- Message should display Reservation sent to Tres.

In Tres, create and save a new trip or open an existing trip that this new reservation is a part of. Under the Reservations sub folder click Import Reservations.
- Important! If you are creating a trip, you must save the trip before you click Import Reservations and add the reservation to the trip.
- Click on the Booking Type filter and select 'Direct Connect XML'. Click Search. This will generate a pop up displaying all reservations imported into your system that have not been associated with a trip.
- Check off the box next to the correct reservation and click Add Reservations To Trip.
- Review the reservation details and then click Save Reservation to Trip.
- If the supplier is not matched to an existing supplier profile, click the Imported Supplier data link to see the supplier name, then click the Select Supplier drop down and search for the supplier or Add new Supplier if they are not in your database.
- Imported Traveler data that does not match a Traveler profile in Tres will appear as text in the Travelers tab of the reservation. Select 'Link All Associated Travelers' to link all travelers associated with the Client. Or select 'Link Travelers' to link new Travelers in Tres or search across this data with the Reservation Traveler Name - Freeflow filter in the Trips search area.
- Click Save Reservation to Trip and Save All to close the Trip.
