A recent Windows update has changed the Edge settings so that it forces the use of Edge when a user opens Internet Explorer. This effects primarily ClientBase Online users and their ability to use Live Connect and Merge to PNR/PNR Import features. Below are the steps to change the default browser back to Internet Explorer.
- Open Edge and go to Settings
- Select 'Default Browser on the left
- Select the drop-down for 'Let Internet Explorer open site in Microsoft Edge'.
- Select Never.
IMPORTANT: When Internet Explorer is opened, there will be a pop-op at the top of the screen saying that Edge is recommended. Do not click Yes.
