If your Tres account is connected with our third party credit card merchant, Payrix, you are able to process service fees directly inside of Tres. If you would like to learn more about credit card merchants, please contact our sales team at sales@trestechnologies.com.
Connecting Your Credit Card Processer to Your Tres Account
To connect your Tres account with your credit card processing account, open the Settings folder and navigate to Agency Settings.
In the features section, check off the box for Credit Card Merchant Processing.
A new section will appear below to set up the credit card merchant account by entering your merchant ID and API Key. Note: Bank Management and General Ledger do not have to be selected to use Credit Card Merchant Processing.
Click Save Agency Settings.
Processing a Service Fee
Once your account is connected, all payments for service fee reservations that are Paid By Client and Paid To Agency will be automatically processed via your credit card processor when Credit Card is selected as the method. Successful payments will display a payment ID on the bottom of the screen.
