PRISM is a corporate travel data aggregator on behalf of Qantas and is responsible for collecting sales data from some agencies. This data is then forwarded to airlines if required. Should the Agency being using this functionality, a Prism Guide is available, please refer to your Account Executive.
Travelport has created functionality within CCTE to extract data for tickets processed through Host. This functionality allows agents to automatically create three text files (as per specifications stipulated by PRISM) and manually upload those to a PRISM portal, the current extract is based on Invoice date (not ticket issue date).
Basic Workflows (if used are):
Consultant:
- User creates new PNR/retrieves existing PNR
- Flights segments are added/already present
- User creates fare quote and files the fare in the PNR
- File Fare data contains Fare Basis and Tour Code (if Tour Code is applicable)
- PNR is saved
- PNR is downloaded/redownloaded to CCTE
- Fare Data is populated into the relevant screen in CCTE Trip File in the download process.
- If the Fare Basis has changed in the PNR then the redownload process must also capture the new Fare Basis and update the CCTE Segment Screen accordingly.
Accounts person Run PRISM Extract:
- User requests PRISM data extract – File/Data Operations/Prism Extract
- Enters date range for which extract is to be run
- Selects Retrieve button on Extract Screen
- Selects Debtor for which the Extract is to be run
Saves files to a user specified location.
