At Tres, we’ve invested heavily in integrating with scores of booking engines and global distribution systems (GDSs). With billions of dollars’ worth of reservation data processed, we know how important it is to handle reservations efficiently. Still, agencies often receive non-automated reservations—such as one-off, over-the-phone bookings at boutique hotels—that need to be tracked manually.
Tres now offers three options for capturing reservations:

Direct, live connections with online reservation systems and GDS integrations. -
Manual:
Manual input is not only the most laborious and time and time consuming, but also tends to create the most data errors. Humans can miss fields and make data entry mistakes
AI read in not only saves time, but also tends to have better data quality than manual input. Although from time to time we do see AI technology mis read data and hence AI formatted, auto read in information should be reviewed.
GDS interface and Direct (live) Connect not only save time and labor, but also tend to have the highest degree of data integrity. Computer based integrations do not make manual entry mistakes, miss fields, miss type data, etc.

AI Reservation Import (New):
In our new reservation import area, users simply drag and drop the reservation file. The Tres AI then reads the file and organizes the data—similar to a Direct Connect process—by aligning key fields such as client, supplier, and advisor information.

- Speed: The AI import process takes only seconds, making it a true time saver.
- Data Quality: Automating the import process helps improve accuracy. (Users are encouraged to review the imported data to ensure quality.)
- Cost: Currently, this AI import feature is available at no additional charge. In the future, a small per-reservation fee may be introduced based on AI processing costs.
