Tech Update: Warning Message: The message below in blue is generated by the Classic Vacations site and is only a warning. As long as you see the Reservation Number and Account number at the bottom left, please ignore the section in blue, and continue to complete the import. If there is an error on the bottom left instead, it is unrelated to this warning message, and the problem will be clear.
***Important Note: You must download the Direct Connect extension for Chrome or Edge before using Direct Connect with Tres. Please click here for instructions on downloading the extension.
Important: Before using the Direct Connect feature, ensure that no other browser tabs are open in the same browser window as your Tres database.
Classic Vacations has a website where agents can book transactions with their own logins obtained through Classic Vacations. However, you must be registered to use Classic Vacations with Direct Connect in Tres. To register, complete the enrollment form below and once completed, fax it to 408.882.8452.
Classic Vacations only provides a User ID and Password to Owner/Manager for use with Tres and this differs from the login used on the Classic Vacations website. There are no exceptions to this, as this is a precautionary measure to protect Agency Owners and Managers. Classic for Agents reserves the right to verify all information provided is accurate.

After your request has been received, you will receive a confirmation of receipt. Please allow 2 - 3 weeks to process and receive an e-mail notification with your User ID and password.

Import Previously Made Classic Vacations Reservation Details
Click on Direct Connect icon in the Navigation Bar.
Choose Classic Vacations from the list.
Enter your Classic Vacations Login ID, Password and Account Number.
Enter the confirmation number of the booking you want to import into Tres.
- The Classic Vacations website will open in a new browser tab.
- Ensure you are able to see the Reservation Number and Account Number on the page.
- ***NOTE: The message in the blue box on this page is information only. If you see the Reservation Number and Account Number, you can proceed.
- Click on the Direct Connect browser extension.
Enter your Tres login credentials and click Submit.
- Tres will detect the reservation number you entered on the screen above.
- Enter a Trip Reference.
- This is a free-flow field that you enter that will make sense so you can choose it from a list of all your Direct Connect imported reservations.
- Select 'Send Reservation to Tres'.

In Tres, create and save a new trip or open an existing trip that this new reservation is a part of. Under the Reservations sub folder click Import Reservations.
- Important! If you are creating a trip, you must save the trip before you click Import Reservations and add the reservation to the trip.
- Click on the Booking Type filter and select 'Direct Connect XML'. Click Search. This will generate a pop up displaying all reservations imported into your system that have not been associated with a trip.
- Check off the box next to the correct reservation and click Add Reservations To Trip.
- Review the reservation details and then click Save Reservation to Trip.
- If the supplier is not matched to an existing supplier profile, click the Imported Supplier data link to see the supplier name, then click the Select Supplier drop down and search for the supplier or Add new Supplier if they are not in your database.
- Imported Traveler data that does not match a Traveler profile in Tres will appear as text in the Travelers tab of the reservation. Select 'Link All Associated Travelers' to link all travelers associated with the Client. Or select 'Link Travelers' to link new Travelers in Tres or search across this data with the Reservation Traveler Name - Freeflow filter in the Trips search area.
- Click Save Reservation to Trip and Save All to close the Trip.
