WHY by Lee Rosen - Quick Searches and Quick Adds in Tres
Quickly add a new Trip and Reservation simultaneously with the Quick Add option. Enabling Quick Add allows advisors to report their trips and reservations into the system rapidly since it is available on all screens in Tres. However, it only collects the most basic information, severely limiting reports and marketing. It only records one Reservation and one Traveler. We strongly recommend agencies disable this feature if they want to take full advantage of all Tres has to offer.
Note: Quick Add Trip and Reservation will not work correctly for agencies using mandatory tags in Trips.
Quick Add Trip and Reservation is enabled by navigating to Settings > Agency Settings > Features and checking the box. Checking this box will enable Quick Add for Client and Traveler as well as Trip and Reservation.
A new icon will appear on the top navigation menu.
Clicking on this icon will open a popup.
Complete the fields and click Save and Open Trip to open the newly created trip, or Save and Next to generate a new popup to enter another Trip and Reservation.
The system follows the auto population rules below:
- If the Trip Name is left blank, the system will auto populate a name formatted as Client Name - Supplier - Start Date.
- Reservation Booking Date defaults to the current date.
- Branch will auto populate if the advisor selected is associated with a branch. Otherwise it will be blank.
- Reservation Status defaults to Confirmed.
- Reservation Track Client Payment defaults to "No".
- Advisor Commission % defaults to the amount set at the Advisor profile.
