Tour and cruise categorized reservations will display a Sub Reservation submenu option. Use sub reservations to record further details about the reservation and break it down into individual components. It is optional, but generates a more detailed trip statement as well as more advanced reports.
To add a new sub reservation, open the Sub Reservation subfolder and click + Add Sub Reservation. This generates a section below to enter details.
Select a Travel Category from the dropdown menu (Cruises are not currently available as a sub reservation travel category.). Select a Travel Sub-Category if applicable.
Enter a Booking Date and Status.
Select a Provider from the dropdown menu.
Enter a confirmation number.
Add images that will display on the Client Itinerary.
The images section is divided into two section: sub Reservation Images and Provider Images. The Sub Reservation Images section displays images that have been uploaded manually by the user. Drag images to reorder, and edit or delete an image by clicking the appropriate button.
The Provider Images section auto populates images from the Provider profile. Images displayed here are read only and can only be reordered or removed from the Provider's profile. Checking the box for Include Provider Images will populate these images to the Client Itinerary. The box is checked by default.
Enter Itemization, Tags, Itinerary Remarks and Supplier Remarks.
Click Save Sub Reservation.
Repeat this process to create any additional sub reservations.
Reorder sub reservations by clicking the icon and dragging the row to the desired location in the list. This order affects how sub reservations are ordered on the Trip Statement, but does not affect the order in the Client Itinerary as that is ordered by date.
Click Save reservation to trip at the top right corner of the screen.
Delete one or more sub reservations by checking the box next to the records you wish to delete and then clicking the Delete button. Learn more about deleting multiple records.
