WHY by Lee Rosen - Introducing Tres' AI Reservation Import Feature
Importing Reservations through AI is a game-changer for agencies, offering a streamlined and efficient way to manage the Reservation entry process. Automating the process of importing reservation data eliminates manual data entry, reduces errors, and saves valuable time.
Currently, there is no cost for the AI Reservation Import functionality. However, we are evaluating the expenses associated with maintaining this feature and will notify you if a fee is introduced in the future.
Note:
This feature is currently only available for Hotels.
AI Reservation Import is enabled by navigating to Settings > Agency Settings > Features and checking the box.
After receiving a reservation confirmation from a supplier, open the Trip and go to the Reservations tab.
Click the Import Reservations button to open up a popup.
Select a file from your computer by clicking Browse or drag and drop the confirmation into the box at the top of the popup. Accepted file formats are PDF, EML, HTML, HTM, TXT. Max file size is 4MB.
Note on PDF:
- Save as PDF: Works and can be imported.
- Download PDF: Some suppliers provide a straight “Download PDF” button. Those are usually fine.
- Print to PDF: Will not work. This option saves the document as an image, which the AI parser cannot interpret.
The popup will close automatically after import and the Reservation will be saved to the Trip.
We highly recommend opening the created Reservation to associate an Advisor and Supplier profile (if not currently entered in Tres) and confirm all details.
