Cleaning up profiles in ClientBase before conversion helps to ensure that the Tres interface will run smoothly and accurately. Outdating or incorrect interface ids can cause warnings, duplicate profiles, and unnecessary troubleshooting after conversion.

Profiles with Hotel Chain Code as Vendor (Supplier) Interface ID
If these profiles remain unchained, all hotel bookings for the hotel chain will interface to that supplier instead of the individual property. This includes all hotel chain codes (300+). For agencies with large databases, consider running queries with fewer chain codes in each query.
In the Profile Manager, click on the Level 3 tab and enter the following fields.
- Click OK
- Click Summarize on the right and your query should look like the following:

- Click Refresh on the right
- If your display results do not include the Interface ID column, click on Columns
- On the left, under Fields Available, move down and DOUBLE click on PROFILE.Interface ID
- The field will move to the right under Fields in Columns
- Click OK
- Review the Interface ID column. If your agency uses the vendor, open the profile add a 'Z' at the end of the Interface ID.
- For example, the first vendor in the display below is Alamo Car Rental. If your agency uses this vendor, open the profile and change the Interface ID to ALZ.
- If the agency does not use the vendor, open the profile and change the Profile Status to Inactive. Click OK.
Airlines without an Airline Number
Profiles for airline vendors must include the correct ARC/BSP validating airline code. Missing airline codes can cause interface warnings that don't match to a Supplier profile. Refer to https://www2.arccorp.com/support-training/travel-agencies/participating-airline-information or the GDS to find the airline number.
- In the Profile Manager, select the Level 3 tab.
- Click Add Filter on the right.
- Select the following fields:
- Click Summarize on the right. Your query should look like the following:

(Profile Type [Vendor])
AND (Travel Category Is Equal to Any "[Air]")
AND (Airline No. Is BLANK)
AND (Profile Status Is Equal to Active)
- Click OK
- Click Refresh on the right.
- Double click to open the profile
- Enter the Airline No. (validating ARC/BSP code)
- Click OK
- Repeat for each profile
- Note: If the carrier does not have an ARC/BSP number (charters, special carriers, etc.) leave the field blank.
Car Companies
Check for car vendors (suppliers) to make sure they use the two-character GDS code for interface ID. Click here for a list of card codes.
- In the Profile Manager, select the Level 3 tab.
- Click Add Filter on the right.
- Select the following fields:
- Click Ok.
- Click Summarize on the right and your query should look like the following:

- Click Refresh on the right.
- If your display results do not include the Interface ID column, click on Columns

- Click OK
- Review the Interface ID column and if there are any that are not correct or blank, double click to open the profile and enter the correct two-character GDS code in the Interface ID field.
- Click OK to save.
Agent IDs
Verify the each agency profile matches the Interface ID for the GDS. Incorrect or missing agency Interface IDs may prevent GDs bookings from associated to the correct advisor in Tres.
- In the Profile Manager, click on the Level 3 tab.
- Click Add Filter on the right.
- Select the following fields:
- Click Ok.
- Click Summarize on the right and your query should look like the following:

- Click Refresh on the right.
- If your display results do not include the Interface ID column, click on Columns.
- On the left, under Fields Available, move down and DOUBLE click on PROFILE.Interface ID

- Click OK
- Review the Interface ID column to ensure the Interface ID matches the GDS.
- Amadeus: AIAN
- Sabre: DK
- Travelport: DI.AC-
Client Profiles without Interface IDs
Check for profiles that are missing Interface IDs. Interfaced records matching to a Client profile is necessary in Tres to ensure payments apply to the reservations.
If any profiles are found with missing Interface IDs, use the Interface ID Generator to create them. Run the dupe checker after this step in case the generator creates any interface IDs that duplicate existing ones. Links to directions are below.
- In the Profile Manager, click on the Level 3 tab.
- Enter the following fields:
- Click OK
- Click Summarize on the right and your query should look like the following:

- Note: The utility will create Interface IDs for Leisure and Corporate profiles only.
