The GDS API key is valid for one year. When it expires, a new API Key must be generated and entered into the GDS Uploader.
If the API Key expires before it is updated, interfaced records will continue to download to the record path; however, they will not be imported into Tres. After the new API Key is entered into the GDS Uploader, record imports will resume.
- To generate a new API Key, go to Settings > Agency Settings
- Move down the page to Features
- Under GDS Interface, click 'Generate API Key'. The expiration date will change to one year from the day you generated the API Key.
- Use the copy icon located to the right of the API Key field
- Open the GDS Uploader
- Click in the API Key field
- Paste the new API Key
- Click Save
