Client Analysis Report
For a Leisure or Variable branch there are three types of Client Analysis Report. A client file must be opened to access these Reports.
The Client Analysis report based on the report parameters entered, CCTE auto-calculates the spend and rank of each client in the retrieved data.
In order for these reports to work, the Client file MUST be linked to the Trip file.
Top Travellers – Detailed
This report analyses a client’s total spend for all service types with a breakdown of air, hotel and car. Client profiles are ranked based on the total spend for all sales highest to lowest.
Top Travellers – Summary
This report analyses a client’s total spend for all services bundled together. Client profiles are ranked based on the total spend for all sales highest to lowest.
Top Traveller - Detailed and Top Traveller - Summary reports are extracted with the following criteria:
- Client files should be linked to at least one trip.
- Each linked trip needs to have at least one Ticket or Cheque requisition to show on this report. Reversed, cancelled or unconfirmed transactions will not be included.
By default these reports will be sorted by rank in ascending order.
Top Client Debtors
This report analyses the total spend for clients that are linked to a debtor. This debtor can be either a corporate or leisure debtor. The clients are grouped by debtors and the debtor total sale amount is calculated by totalling the sale value of all clients attached to that debtor. The Debtors are ranked based on the total spend for all sales highest to lowest.
Top Client Debtors report is extracted with below criteria:
- Client files should be linked to at least one trip.
- Client files should also be linked to a debtor.
- Each linked trip needs to have at least one Ticket or Cheque requisition to show on this report. Reversed, cancelled or unconfirmed transactions will not be included.
- This report displays client files grouped by Debtor. For each Debtor a subtotal of the value of spends is calculated. Debtors are ranked by this subtotal. Client files under a Debtor will have the same rank as their Debtor.
By default the Top Client Debtors report will be sorted by rank, Debtor id and then the client file under each Debtor.
The flexibility is also available to:
Filter the above reports’ data on various parameters, including Branch, Trip Departure date, Destination, Supplier, Creditor, Company, Debtor, Cost Centre and Client profile.
The filter process does not recalculate the sale amount and rank. It filters the client profiles which match the filter criteria.
Select the number of client files required to display on the report, either Top 10, 20, 50 or 100 ranked clients for the Top Travellers Detailed and Summary reports. Select the number of top companies or debtors required from either Top 10, 20, 50 or 100 ranked for the Top Client companies and debtor reports respectively.
Sort report data on various parameters, including Client family name, Rank, Email Id, Phone and Address.
Save the report into the new Excel spreadsheet format exclusively designed for these reports.
The report screen will open once the above menu item has been selected.
If the login consultant is from a Corporate or Variable workflow home branch - see Debtor Hierarchy Guide, Answer 28042 in Ask Travelport for more information regarding Corporate, Variable & Leisure Workflows.
If login consultant is from a Leisure workflow home branch the below screen will show:
Select the required REPORT TYPE and then click the RETRIEVE button to generate a basic report.
Once the report is retrieved, the user can then select filters, output row or sort parameters and click the FILTER button.
The RETRIEVE button will only generate a basic report and will not consider any user provided filter or sort parameters. The user should always retrieve a basic report first and then apply the filter and sort parameters.
The FILTER button will first perform the filter, then the output row and then sort.
These reports are based on very complex queries which may take some time to be retrieved from the database; the user will be prompted with a message on clicking the RETRIEVE button to remind the user it may take time to retrieve:
Click the YES button to proceed with the report generation. To exit from the report click NO.
All of the above reports will use the following approach to calculate the value from a trip for a Client file:
Sale amount calculation from the above transactions:
If a transaction is linked to one passenger then the entire transaction amount will be accountable for the Client file associated with the transaction passenger.
If a transaction is linked to multiple passengers then the transaction will be divided by the number of Client files associated with the transaction passengers. In this case the quotient of the division will be accountable for each of the client files.
Duplicate Clients Report
The Duplicate Clients report has no filters. Click the Retrieve button to show any duplicate Client files.
If no duplicate files are found, the system responds with a No Data Retrieved prompt. Click OK to clear the prompt.
Preventing Duplicate Client Files
Clicking the Create Client icon creates a new client file from the Trip file. To check if the client file has already been created, click on the Link button first, before using the Create function.
