Allianz AdvisorMax Features
Allianz AdvisorMax supports the following Live Connect Features if checked:
Allianz AdvisorMax for ClientBase Windows
You must be an existing Allianz AdvisorMax member to book online with Live Connect. You will also need to contact your Business Development Manager at Allianz and request that they enable your login to use ClientBase Live Connect with their site.
Set Up Allianz AdvisorMax
Upon receiving Allianz AdvisorMax onboarding, take the following steps to setup ClientBase Windows for Live Connect.
Step 1 - Create a Live Connect Provider for Allianz AdvisorMax if none exists by going to Utilities/Live Connect Providers, and clicking Add. If you already see Alliance Global Assistance on the list and are changing to the new Allianz AdvisorMax, do not create a new item, but instead find the Alliance Global Assistance item and modify it to show the following parameters.
- Provider Name: Enter Allianz AdvisorMax
- URL: Enter https://advisormax.ca/api/clientBase
- Travel Category: Insurance
- Import XML from: HTML Source
- Include Authentication, etc.: Not applicable.
Step 2 - Set up for Live Connect agent logins can be done individually or globally for the agency. Users can set up their own logins by going to Utilities|My Login|Live Connect and clicking Add. To set up globally, go to Global Defaults|Res Card Defaults|Live Connect to enter the User Name, and Password that everyone in agency will use. When Live Connect is launched, the system first looks to see if there is login information at the User Login level, and if not, then looks at the global login
- Live Connect Provider: Select Allianz AdvisorMax from the drop-down list.
- User Name/Password: Enter the necessary fields based upon the login information provided to you when you contacted Allianz AdvisorMax. User name is email address and your selected password.
- Account Number/Agency Code: Not applicable
Step 3 - Set up the Allianz Global Assistance vendor profile. From the profile manager, retrieve the vendor profile for Allianz Global Assistance (or create the vendor profile if it is not in the database). From the General Info Tab, click Live Connect Providers. From here, click Add, then select Allianz AdvisorMax booking engine from the drop-down list. If you have changed from the old site to the new site, please check the vendor profile to ensure that the link is correct, and that the vendor code is entered. The vendor code is ALLIANZ. Click OK.
Create New Allianz AdvisorMax Reservation (Windows)
Step 1) Complete the initial Res Card information. Click the Reservation Tab and Add. Fill in the Vendor and Travel Category fields and then click Live Connect.
Step 2) Select Allianz Global Assistance from the drop-down menu by Connect To (if not already defaulted). Click Create New Reservations.
Step 3) Select any customer information for use to book Allianz AdvisorMax reservation. This data is automatically passed to Allianz AdvisorMax and saves time during the booking process, as less fields need to be completed manually. Click Connect.
Step 4) The system prompts with the reservation records included in this Res Card. Highlight each reservation to insure by using the CTRL key in combination with mouse clicking, and the system completes the summary trip information. Again, this step is designed to save time during the insurance booking process. Any missing or incomplete data can be updated on the Allianz AdvisorMax site confirming the insurance booking.
Click Connect.
Step 5) Although still in ClientBase, you are now on-line at the booking site. When you connect to the booking site, if you get a message asking you to accept cookies, please click Accept. Complete the reservations and when the reservation is confirmed, click Import Reservation. All reservation data booked on-line is now located in the reservation fields in ClientBase.

Import Existing Allianz AdvisorMax Reservation Made Outside of ClientBase (Windows)
First, create a new reservation in ClientBase and after entering vendor information, click Live Connect and Import Existing Reservation. Enter a confirmation number or leave blank. When you connect to the booking site, if you get a message asking you to accept cookies, please click Accept. Then locate the Policy Search area. Search for the policy, and click to display the policy details. Once the reservation details are showing, click Import Reservation. All reservation data booked on-line is now located in the reservation fields in ClientBase.
Retrieve an Existing Reservation for Editing or Cancelling (Windows)
To edit or cancel an existing reservation using Live Connect, follow these steps:
Step 1) Launch Live Connect from inside the reservation to edit or cancel in ClientBase.
Step 2) A dialog box appears. Click Retrieve Reservation.
Step 3) Live Connect launches the booking engine site and brings up the reservation. Edit or cancel the reservation using instructions supplied by the booking engine.
Step 4) When the reservation changes are confirmed, click Import Reservation.
All reservation data edited or cancelled online is now located in the reservation fields in ClientBase.
Allianz AdvisorMax for ClientBase Online
You must be an existing Allianz AdvisorMax advisor to book online with Live Connect. You will also need to contact your Business Development Manager at Allianz and request that they enable your login to use ClientBase Live Connect with their site.
Set Up Allianz AdvisorMax (Online)
Upon receiving Allianz AdvisorMax onboarding, take the following steps to setup ClientBase Online for Live Connect.
Step 1 - Once you have obtained accurate login information, you need to add this Live Connect Provider if it does not already exist into ClientBase by going to Tools/Settings/Live Connect Providers and clicking Add. If you see Alliance Global Assistance on the list and are changing to the new Allianz AdvisorMax, do not create a new item, but instead find the Alliance Global Assistance item and modify it to show the following parameters.
- Provider Name: Allianz AdvisorMax
- Status: Active.
- URL: https://advisormax.ca/api/clientBase
- Travel Category: Insurance.
- Import XML from: HTML Source.
- Include Authentication, etc.: Not applicable.
Step 2 - Login setup. Set up for Live Connect agent logins can be done individually. Create New Allianz AdvisorMax Reservation (Online)
Important Note: You must download the Live Connect extension for Chrome before using Live Connect with ClientBase Online. Chrome is the supported browser. Please click here for instructions on downloading the extension.
Step 1) Retrieve the desired client profile, create a new Res Card and after entering basic Res Card info, launch Live Connect by clicking Live Connect on the menu bar. (You can also launch Live Connect from the Profile action gear.)
Step 2) Complete the Live Connect settings by identifying the vendor and the Live Connect Provider.
Step 3) Click the Create New Reservation button.
Step 4) Select any Profile, Passenger, Branch and Res Card information you want to use to book the reservation and click Connect to launch the on-line booking engine.
Step 5) A new browser tab will open for Allianz AdvisorMax. When you connect to the booking site, if you get a message asking you to accept cookies, please click Accept. Complete the reservation(s) using instructions supplied by Allianz Global Assistance upon registration. When the reservation is confirmed, click on the Live Connect Extension, and then select Import Reservation. All reservation data booked on-line is now located in the reservation fields in ClientBase.

Import Existing Allianz AdvisorMax Reservation Made Outside of ClientBase (Online)
Create a new Res Card, launch Live Connect by clicking Live Connect on the menu bar, choose the vendor and provider, enter the confirmation number or leave blank, and click Import Existing Reservation. A new tab will open. When connected to the site, When you connect to the booking site, if you get a message asking you to accept cookies, please click Accept. Then locate the Policy Search area. Locate the Policy Search area to search for the policy and display the details. Once the details are displayed, click on the Live Connect Extension, (see above) and then select Import Reservation. All data booked on-line is now located in the reservation fields in ClientBase.
