ClientBase Windows: Click on Utilities > Live Connect Providers. Then find the Traveltek entry to modify the settings. If you have ClientBase Windows/ClientBase Online sync, the URL must be changed in ClientBase Windows, and then the setting will sync to ClientBase Online.
ClientBase Online Standalone: Go to Tools > Settings. The setting for the Live Connect Provider setup is in the right column. Click on the link and you will see the list of providers.
Traveltek vendors include Carnival Cruises, Celebrity, Cunard, Holland America, MSC, Norwegian Cruise Line, Princess Cruises, Royal Caribbean, and Seabourn.

Set Up Traveltek in ClientBase (Windows)
To register to book with Traveltek, contact sales@traveltek.net. Upon receiving login information for each agent, take the following steps to set up ClientBase for Live Connect.
Step 1) Create a Live Connect Provider for Traveltek if none exists by going to Utilities/Live Connect Providers and clicking Add. If you have an existing entry, you may modify it and confirm that the URL is correct.
- Provider Name: Enter Traveltek.
- URL: Enter https://cruiseconnect.traveltek.net
- Travel Category: Select Cruise from the drop-down menu.
- Import XML from: Enter HTML Source.
Step 2) Login information is not passed from ClientBase to Traveltek, so there is no reason to save your login information in ClientBase. You will be prompted to use your Traveltek login and password after you click on Connect when launching Live Connect and reaching the site.
Step 3) From the Profile Manager, retrieve the desired Vendor from the list or create a new Vendor profile if one does not already exist. From the General Info tab, click Live Connect Providers. Click Add, then select Traveltek from the drop-down list. Enter the corresponding Vendor Code from the table here. Click OK, then apply.
Creating a New Reservation (Windows)
Step 1) When ready to book on-line, create a client Res Card and fill in the Agent, Status, Reservation Cycle, Trip Name, Region/Destination fields and select the travelers. Use the Add Reservation button to start a new reservation. Fill in the Vendor and Travel Category fields and then click Live Connect.
Step 2) Click Create New Reservations.
Step 3) Select customer data to book the reservation (Traveler, Credit Card, Phone and Billing Address) and click Connect.
Step 4) You will arrive at the Traveltek login page where you are prompted to use your regular Traveltek login and password. (If you do not clear your cache, you may not have to login again for a significant period of time.) You can then book a reservation. Once you see the reservation details, you can then click Import Reservation. All reservation data booked on-line is now located in the reservation fields in ClientBase.
Importing an Existing Reservation (Windows)
Step 1) Create a new reservation in ClientBase and after entering vendor information, click Live Connect and Import an Existing Reservation. Enter a confirmation number or leave blank.
Step 2) You will arrive at the Traveltek login page where you are prompted to use your regular Traveltek login and password. (If you do not clear your cache, you may not have to login again for a significant period of time.) Then click on the Orders button. The list of your orders will display. When you see the pertinent order, click view. You must view the details before you can import successfully. Once you see the reservation details, click Import Reservation. All reservation data booked on-line is now located in the reservation fields in ClientBase.
Retrieve an Existing Reservation for Editing or Cancelling (Windows)
To edit or cancel an existing reservation using Live Connect, follow these steps:
Launch Live Connect from inside the existing reservation to edit or cancel in ClientBase. A dialog box appears. Click Retrieve Reservation. Live Connect launches the booking engine site. Edit or cancel the reservation using instructions supplied by the booking engine and click Import Reservation. All reservation data edited or cancelled online is now located in the ClientBase reservation record.

Creating a New Reservation (Online)
***Important Note: You must download the Live Connect extension for Chrome before using Live Connect with ClientBase Online. Chrome is the supported browser. Please click here for instructions on downloading the extension.
Step 1) Retrieve the desired client profile, create a new Res Card and after entering basic Res Card info, launch Live Connect by clicking Live Connect on the menu bar. (You can also launch Live Connect from the Profile action gear.)
Step 2) Complete the Live Connect settings by identifying the vendor, the Live Connect Provider and appropriate Login information.
Step 3) Click the Create New Reservation button.
Step 4) Select any Profile, Passenger, Branch and Res Card information you want to use to book the reservation and click Connect to launch the on-line booking engine.
Step 5) Although still in ClientBase, you are now on-line at the booking site. Complete the booking and when confirmed and when you see the reservation details click Import Reservation. All reservation data booked on-line is now located in the reservation fields in ClientBase.
