Please Note: Currently this provider only works using ClientBase Online. We will add the ClientBase Windows version soon.
If your agency uses the ClientBase Windows/ClientBase Online sync version, this setup must completed using the ClientBase Windows version. Then the settings will sync to CBO.
Set Up Alexander + Roberts in ClientBase Windows to use in ClientBase Windows/ClientBase Online sync version
First: To add this Live Connect provider, go to Utilities > Live Connect Providers. Click Add.
- Provider Name: Enter Alexander + Roberts.
- URL: Enter https://portal.alexanderroberts.com/passengerlogin
- Travel Category: Enter Tour from the drop-down menu.
- Import XML from: Enter HTML Source.
Then click OK
Next: Create a vendor profile in ClientBase or look up and open your existing Alexander + Roberts profile. Click on the Live Connect Providers button in the profile and then click Add. Choose Alexander + Roberts and enter ALEXROB for the Vendor Code.
Set Up Alexander + Roberts for ClientBase Online Stand Alone (If you have a ClientBase Online / ClientBase Windows sync you will need to set this up in ClientBase Windows. Please see instructions above)
First: To add this Live Connect Provider into ClientBase, go to Tool > Settings > Live Connect Providers and click Add.
Fill in the following fields:
- Name of the Provider: Enter Alexander + Roberts.
- URL: https://portal.alexanderroberts.com/passengerlogin
- Travel Category: Select Tour.
- Import XML from: Select HTML Source.
- Include Authentication: Leave blank.
- Click Save.
Next: Create a vendor profile for Alexander + Roberts (if none exists) or look up and open your Alexander + Roberts profile. From the General Info link, click Live Connect Providers. From here, click Add, then select the booking engine from the drop-down list and enter ALEXROB for the Vendor Code.
To use this provider: you can import existing reservations with Alexander + Roberts
***Important Note: You must download the Live Connect extension for Chrome before using Live Connect with ClientBase Online. Chrome is the supported browser. Please click here for instructions on downloading the extension.
Import Existing Alexander + Roberts Res Made Outside of ClientBase Online
Retrieve the desired client profile, create a new Res Card or open an existing one and launch Live Connect by clicking Live Connect on the menu bar. (You can also launch Live Connect from the Profile action gear.) Complete the Live Connect settings by identifying the vendor and the Live Connect Provider. Then click on Import EXISTING RESERVATION.
When the Live Connect box comes up, enter the Booking Reference and Lead Passenger Surname. Then click LOGIN.
It may take 2 or 3 minutes for the search to complete, and the Reservation details display on the screen. When the reservation is found, click on the Import Reservation button.
The reservation data booked on-line will now be imported into the reservation fields in ClientBase.
