Click Tools|My Login. Next select the Email Settings tab to display the following screen. Note: these settings are User Login-specific, so they need to be repeated for each ClientBase Online User.
First type into the From Email Address field the Microsoft account you wish to use. Then click the dropdown for Authentication Type and choose Microsoft Authentication.
Click the Sign in with Microsoft button. You are prompted to Sign in with your Microsoft account.

Click the account you wish to use to send emails from ClientBase Online. You may see more than one choice if you have multiple Microsoft Office accounts. The example above shows three accounts. Again, the From Email Address in the settings should match the Microsoft account you with to use.
If it is the first time using ClientBase Online on this computer, you may be asked to authenticate via a text or using the Microsoft Authenticator App. Please do so. This is the connection to your Microsoft account, not to ClientBase. You may be asked to re-authenticate your Microsoft account in future ClientBase Online sessions. This is normal and expected.
Finally, click Save at the bottom of the User Settings tab. Now email messages will be sent via the Microsoft account.
