If you want to generate an invoice or a refund invoice in ClientBase Online, a 'Next Sales Invoice No.' and 'Next Refund Invoice No.' need to be added for each branch location. It's important that the invoice and/or refund number entered is not within the same sequence of numbers in ClientBase Windows, Trams Back Office or the GDS.
If you have multiple products, all information entered into these products are stored in one database. You cannot have duplicate invoice numbers in a database, therefore, the invoice numbers for each product and branch need to be unique.
- Log in with a Manager User or SYSDBA and go to Tools > Settings.
- Go to Branch Settings, click on the appropriate branch and enter the next sales invoice number and next refund invoice number.
